Journal Club Committee
This committee provides an unbiased, non-commercial environment to promote scientifically based and intellectually engaging ideas for the benefit of its members but ultimately for the objective to enhance the safety of the public at large. The journal club runs 3 to 4 times a year as a valuable component to the exchange of ideas between diplomates. The ABHRS feels it is important that diplomates have a platform to share opinions and ideas about the latest breakthroughs in scientific advancements, and the journal club provides an opportunity for this level of communication. In the past, topics that have been explored include follicular unit excision (FUE) in patients of African descent, adjunctive measures for hair loss treatments including Vitamin D, Jak inhibitors, etc., regenerative medicine techniques like PRP, new strategies for performing strip harvesting, and many other topics.
